FOOD RECALLS

Every week another food or treat is recalled.   Stay up to date with the latest recall announcements by signing up for them on www.dogfoodadvisor.com, www.foodsafety.gov and www.fda.gov/AnimalVeterinary/default.htm

Please remember DO NOT GIVE JERKY TREATS TO YOUR PETS.  We may be overly cautious, but until directed otherwise, we are not recommending ANY jerky treats for pets.  If you must give jerky then dehydrate your own meats OR purchase human grade jerky.  Since there have been reported deaths in dogs consuming AMERICAN jerky as well we continue to advise NO JERKY-NO MATTER WHERE IT ORIGINATES.
